Moving to the Arctic Circle...

We're not really moving to the Arctic Circle, but it certainly seems like we are...in about three weeks, Kenney and I will pack up the pups and kitties one more time to move to Chicago.  This move has been in the making for about 6 months now, and everything seems to have aligned to make this move possible (I'm still not thrilled about leaving my house again...in fact, I am down right unhappy about it, but I love the idea of living closer to a big city!).

In honor of moving to a colder climate, I thought the pups could use something to keep their ears and necks warm in the blustery weather- introducing my second attempt at the greyhound snood (first attempt not yet photographed as the second attempt is far superior in quality and color):

It looks like Blue isn't thrilled about the snood, but really he loves it.  Since it is almost 11:30 at night, and it is way past my baby boy's bedtime, he was not happy to be awakened to model his newest wardrobe addition.  He loves snuggling his face in blankets, pillows and armpits in order to keep his nose and ears warm, and now at least his ears will remain warm!  I haven't found a solution to the cold nose issue for him.  :o)  I am debating about whether I want to make a couple of these to post on my etsy store...they are pretty time consuming (I did this on in about 3 hours...the same amount of time it takes me to make a coat) for such a small outcome.  I guess we'll see. :o)

We love the snood, and think you should absolutely put them in your Etsy store. Harvey's cold natured too... he wears his "old man" plaid coat 24/7. One of our neighbors said that he looks like he's wearing a bathrobe! :-0

At least Chicago has gotten less snow than down here this year. Crazy weather.
